Our founder, Geo Sendejas, began his career in construction by working alongside his father, gaining valuable hands-on experience from an early age. But it wasn’t long before he realized he wanted more than just to follow instructions—he wanted to lead, inspire, and elevate the standard of work within the industry. With a natural talent for communication, problem-solving, and connecting with people, Geo quickly earned the trust and respect of those around him. Encouraged by mentors who recognized his potential, Geo took a leap of faith and pursued his General Contractor’s license. He combined that technical expertise with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and A-1 Development was born. The name honors two key inspirations: “A-1” stands for his daughter, Angela, always putting family first, and “Development” reflects the company’s ongoing mission to grow, improve, and bring ideas to life.
What started as a single tile project has evolved into a trusted, full-service development company built on referrals, client satisfaction, and consistent results.
